World Sunlight Map and Moon Phase

Watch the sun rise and set all over the world on this real-time, computer-generated illustration of the earth's patterns of sunlight and darkness. The clouds are updated every 3 hours with current weather satellite imagery. The Mercator projection is used as the way of looking at the spherical earth as a flat map.

By other side, the Moon phase computer-generated provides an aproximation of how we see the moon at this time. It also includes information about the percentage of the moon that is being illuminated by the Sun, as well as when happened the last Full Moon and New Moon; when it will be New Moon again and when the next Full Moon.
